An analysis by The Ascent, which rates and reviews personal finance products, found that West Virginia had the lowest average home prices in the U.S.
According to the analysis, the average median home price in the nation in the first quarter of 2022 was $428,700. That was compared to the typical West Virginia home price of $137,286.
