AMLER Grant to Revitalize Strategic TAZ Sawmill Site

    July 28, 2025

A $4 million WVDEP AMLER Grant is facilitating the redevelopment of the former TAZ Sawmill site off I-68 near Bruceton Mills. At 43 acres, featuring utility access, an already-existing 12,000 square-foot building on-site and close highway connectivity, the site contains significant business advantages for any company looking to expand or relocate in Preston County.

Local benefits of AMLER Grant redevelopment project

As the TAZ Sawmill site is being redeveloped with funds from the AMLER Grant, PCEDA is confident that it will check all the boxes necessary in attracting new businesses to the area, supporting local job creation in Preston County.

Visit PCEDA for details on the expected local economic impact of redeveloping the TAZ Sawmill site.
