Reflecting on Pathways to Progress: Building West Virginia’s “Staying Power”

In May, leaders from across West Virginia gathered in Charleston for Pathways to Progress: Building Careers, Communities, and Opportunity in West Virginia, a statewide conference focused on the future of workforce development, economic opportunity, and community growth across the Mountain State.

Throughout the day, attendees engaged in conversations around talent retention, employer partnerships, broadband access, entrepreneurship, workforce training, and the evolving needs of West Virginia communities. While each session approached these topics from a different perspective, one message remained consistent: creating a stronger future for West Virginia requires collaboration across sectors, communities, and generations.
