Preston Memorial Hospital receives grant for major expansion project

Mon Health Preston Memorial Hospital has been awarded $1.5 million through the West Virginia Rural Hospital Grant Program, which will go toward expanding facilities, creating patient care areas, and enhancing the quality of care given to the community.
According to a press release from Vandalia Health, the planned use of the funds is a 6,000-square-foot expansion, which will create a dedicated entrance for oncology and infusion patients to better prevent potential infections, in addition to more rooms for patient care and services.
