Local business leaders and community members in Preston County met Wednesday morning at the Preston County Inn for the annual Legislative Kick-Off Breakfast, which gave people a chance to meet with elected officials ahead of the 2025 West Virginia Legislative Session.
During breakfast, officials shared updates on important issues that will be discussed in the upcoming session. Some of these issues included improving power lines to help the economy, changes to drug and crime laws, ideas for restructuring the government, and bills about health freedom.
